"I was called by a realtor today asking if I want to
sell my property on North Channel. I am wondering if the bridge
company is trying to buy more property on the North Channel
to be able to build the bridge without building on other people's
property. I understand that that was one of the reasons that
the DEQ wouldn't give them a permit. From what I heard at the
hearing the two pieces of property that they own on the two
sides of the river are not in line with each other and that
is a big problem. I'm not going to sell to them, no matter what
they offer me. I couln't live with myself if I had anything
to do with helping the bridge company ruin the peace and quite
